Good news for those who are having feature phones. To enrich mobile user experience specifically in developing countries, Facebook has launched “Facebook for Every Phone” app on 2,500 mobile phones worldwide. By this app people can access Facebook News Feed, Inbox and Photos. They can also upload photos and find friends from phone’s contact list.
People can download the app by visiting m.facebook.com or by visiting d.facebook.com/install through their mobile browser. Also, it can be found on Getjar, Apia and Mobile Weaver app stores.
Facebook has also collaborated with 20 telecom partners from various parts of the world to provide Free Data Access for 90 Days to use this application. In India, Airtel, Aircel, Idea and Reliance are providing this service feature. If you are using one of these telecom provider’s services, you have 90 days to use Facebook free of cost.
