Android phone users have another reason to rejoice. Search engine giant Google has added “Books” menu to Android Market from where users can purchase their favorite books. Though it seems that the feature for now will be available to users in the US, yet it is a significant development in the Android market.

All users need to do is to go Android Market and click on the “Books” tab which will display e-book interface. A Google spokesperson said that the feature was added on Thursday at around 9 am. Google has also said that once downloaded, the e-book will be added into the account of the user and if it does not perform as per description, users can return the book.
